25 ways to deal with stress

Stress is apart of life. Fortunately, there are many ways to manage stress and avoid it. It is healthy to have a little bit of stress in your life, but large consistent amounts are not healthy. Stress can affect more than just you, it can affect your relationships & health. Today I am going to share twenty five ways to deal with stress. I truly believe these can make a difference, and I hope they can help you manage your stress! πŸ™‚

  1. Buy & actually useΒ a planner
  2. Get a healthy amount of sleep (7-8 hours)
  3. Lay out your outfit the night before
  4. Prepare for the morning the night before (I like to set out dish ware for my breakfast & coffee, pack my backpack, etc.)
  5. Plan appointments ahead of time & set reminders for them
  6. Assign a binder or safe place for important documents
  7. Scan/make copies of important documents
  8. Leave 10 minutes earlier than normal for work, school, appointments, etc.
  9. Make your bed every morning
  10. Drink a lotΒ of water
  11. Write weekly goals for yourself
  12. Take time to yourself every day
  13. Eat breakfast (even if it’s just a granola bar, something is better than nothing)
  14. Understand that it is okayΒ to say no
  15. Tell yourself that you love yourself
  16. Spend time outdoors
  17. Reward yourself
  18. Eat healthy
  19. Ask for help
  20. Don’t compare yourself to others
  21. Appreciate what you have
  22. Call someone you love
  23. De-clutter your apartment/room/house
  24. Acknowledge your feelings
  25. Pray & talk to God always
