I am so happy you're checking out this post! Happy March! This year is already flying by?! I have been so so busy these past few weeks. February included a lot of school work, studying, and unfortunately sickness. 🙁 But my hard work is paying off (grade wise), and this quarter is just about to come to an end. I couldn't be more ready for spring break! I will be traveling to Las Vegas for some of my spring break (wooooo!). I am so excited to take some time off from school and relax. I am also excited to share my trip to vegas with you all! Hopefully I will be eating lots of good food and soaking up some much needed sunshine! If you have any recommendations for places to go in Vegas, please please please leave me a comment below. I'd love to get some ideas from ya'll. I have been trying out some new products lately & I thought it would be fun to share what I've been using lately. So here are my favorites from January and February (in no particular order). 🙂
Okay, so I am a total #ITgirl. I discovered IT Cosmetics a little over a year ago, and once I tried their products I was hooked. I have not gone back ever since. Joshua got me the IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream for Christmas and I LOVE it. I had been searching for a good moisturizer for awhile and I am so happy I have finally found one. I apply this cream all over my face when I wake up and before I go to bed. My skin has never felt so moisturized, clean, soft, and full (I don’t know how to describe the amazing feeling). But as soon as the moisturizer touches my skin it feels good. So lets talk price, $48.00 for the normal size. Yes, I know that is pricey. And I was a little worried I would get hooked on it, and than need more quick. THANKFULLY, a little bit of this stuff goes a long long way. I just need a dab on my fore head and for my cheeks. It spreads like butter. I think you guys can tell, but I just friken love this stuff.
And AWESOME news, I was checking out IT Cosmetics website and they have a deal going on right now for it. So the normal price for one jar is $48.00, but right now you can get the normal sized jar AND a travel size for $49.50!!! Score score score!
2. Diffuser and essential oils
I recently got a diffuser and a set of basic essential oils. I had been wanting to try a diffuser out for awhile but didn’t know a lot about them. Luckily the one I got is perfect. It is not too big and is so easy to use. I have been testing out different oils but have definitely found some favorites. I pretty much use the oils based on how I’m feeling. So for example, I diffuse lavender when I am feeling anxious. I typically diffuse it at night to calm me down and let if diffuse while I’m sleeping. I love falling asleep to my diffuser going. I have got in the routine of using my diffuser every day/every night. Another essential oil I love is eucalyptus! I diffuse this one whenever I am stuffed up or starting to feel sick. This essential oil is really refreshing to me. I definitely am interested in learning more about essential oils and trying out more. So if you have any tips or suggestions I’d love to hear them! 🙂
I am a total lip stick lover! I love wearing a little bit of color on my lips. I have started trying out more lip products, with one of them being Kylie Lip Kits. I wanted to see what all the hype was about…..and let me tell ya, they’re worth it! I started off with the “dirty peach” lip kit. The color is so beautiful and compliments my olive skin tone. It isn’t super orangey, which I like. I adore that I can line my lips first and than apply the matte liquid. It lasts ALL day long, and I rarely need to re-apply. If you’re on the fence about trying out a Kylie Lip Kit, here is your sign..go for it!
4. Bubble Tea!!!!!!
If you follow me on instagram, you know about my new obsession with bubble tea! I recently tried it for the first time in January and now I’m obsessed! I cannot get enough bubble tea. It has been so fun trying out new places that serve it. I have also started making my own bubble tea (which is so easy and good). My favorite order is coconut bubble tea with boba and coconut jelly. <3
Okay, so I have jumped on the highlighter bandwagon. I have tried a few different high lighter brands but my all time favorite is by Too Faced. It truly makes a statement. I like this product because a little goes a long way. So I am able to use a little if I’m feeling subtle, or a tad more when I really wanna shine. The product comes with too shades, one white-ish sparkly shade and one light pink sparkly shade. I tend to mix them and use them together. The exact product I use is called the Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo. It runs for $30.00, but lasts FOREVER. So I would say it is worth it. If you need a good highlighter, here ya go ladies!
